New Electric Eel Species Zaps With Highest Voltage of Any Known Animal

For more than 200 years, it was thought that there's only one species of electric eel. But a new study published in the journal Nature Communications reveals there are actually three, one of them with the most powerful electric shock in the animal kingdom.
