Cook County prosecutors alleged today that a Chicago police commander facing charges of aggravated battery and official misconduct tackled a man in an abandoned house, held a Taser to his groin, shoved his service weapon "deep down" the man's throat and threatened to kill him if he didn't tell him where he had a gun.

Lincolnwood officials say an off-duty paramedic delivered his baby girl after making an emergecy stop on the Edens Expressway near Touhy Ave. Daniel Lynch of the Evanston Fire Department and his wife, Elizabeth, were on their way to a local hospital early Friday morning when they pulled over to deliver the baby.
