An Oak Forest man free on bond while he awaits the start of his murder trial in Cook County was arrested Friday night at a Joliet casino. Grib had been kicked out of the casino earlier in the evening and was told he would be arrested if he came back, police said.

A woman accused of throwing McDonald's food at employees in the drive-thru window two years ago is suing Des Plaines police officer who responded to the scene - and hit her with a stun gun a dozen times, causing various injuries. Dayna A. Allen said in a lawsuit filed in Cook County Friday that she was getting food at the Des Plaines McDonald's at 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 23, 2012, when officers approached her, ordered her out of her car and then got into the car and Tasered her when she refused.

A 12-year-old girl has been missing since Saturday night and the Cook County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in finding her. Jordan Sumlin was last seen by her parents at approximately 8:10 p.m. on Saturday on the 5200 block of Shotkoski Drive in an unincorporated area near Hoffman Estates, according to a news release Sunday night.
