This photo provided by St. Louis County Police shows a still frame from the police body cam video from a fatal police shooting on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Jennings, Mo. Authorities said Saturday that police officers shot and killed Thaddeus McCarroll, 23, after he charged at them with a knife. Initially, tactical officers fired a “less lethal round” at McCarroll to disarm him. But police said that McCarroll didn’t stop and ran full speed toward the officers with the knife still in hand. Two officers shot McCarroll multiple times, and he died at the scene. Footage from the body camera of one of the tactical officers was uploaded to the department’s YouTube page. Police Chief Jon Belmar described the shooting in a written statement as “another tragic situation where police officers had no other option than to use deadly force against an armed subject.” (AP Photo/St. Louis County Police)
